For anyone wondering what I'll do now - nothing has changed. My goal is to bring you news of what is happening in city government - The REAL Truth in Columbus Politics. And my thoughts on what is going down.
A lot happens that people do not know about and I want to make sure it's out there for all to see. Good AND bad. However I do feel there will be more good in the coming years but I won't miss an opportunity to write about what I feel is the bad.
I have a very optimistic view of how Columbus is moving forward. Even without me.
But don't get me wrong. I might be down but don't count me out. I truly feel I can help Columbus and what does not break me only makes me stronger. I'm like a broken bone! :-) This is the first election I have ever lost (it was also my first so . . . ).
I had so many positive pats on the back, emails and so forth. I just wish I could represent my district as the people I talked to were so frustrated.
SO - let's move on and make Columbus a better place. I'm still here and not going away.
Check back after government meetings.

The Gateway - New Toys Arriving Daily
Anybody that reads this blog - spread the word. More Columbus news on the way.
Nothing to report at the moment. The New City Council will be sworn(?) in April 16th.
I continue to watch The Gateway Project. I don't know about others but this is a pretty big deal for Columbus and is exciting.
I took this a month ago when we had our last sunshine. I wanted to document what the land looked like before construction. I will miss those four oaks though. They were four friends that greeted me when ever I drove into Columbus.
It's going to be close - I'm not sure if that road will go right through them or not.
And a three new trucks have appeared
